Reading like something out of a Sci-fi tale or alien invasion Hollywood movie, are these scary encounters with UFOs. During some point in the Vietnam War it was not solely the North Vietnamese forces that had been in the jungle. There seem to be additionally extra otherworldly forces as well.
What’s more, patrol boat known as PCF-12, commander Lieutenant Pete Snyder, was on an ordinary night patrol close to Cua Viet. At 12:30 AM, PCF-12 received a frantic call from another patrol boat in the area, PCF-19. The patrol PCF-19 claimed that they were being attacked by an unidentified light they had been calling enemy helicopters. All of this appeared odd due to the fact the North Vietnamese enemy was not known to utilize helicopters at the time.
Commander Snyder ordered the PCF-12 to go to PCF-19’s position to offer help. As they approached the area of interest they spotted 2 round brilliant lights immersed in an “unusual glow” soaring over PCF-19’s position. As they approached, one of the unusual lights reportedly emitted a vibrant flash of light. And then after which PCF-19 exploded in a cascade of water and flying debris.
Without delay after the destruction of PCF-19, the two bizarre lights had been described as swiftly accelerating away toward the sea. The PCF-12 scouted the place for any viable survivors of the carnage they had simply witnessed. There were two wounded that had been located and they recalled that the 2 UFOs were trailing them for miles alongside the river.
The survivors then claimed that they had determined to fire upon the threatening, mysterious lights. After which the object issued a piercing blast of light that obliterated the boat. At the start of these encounters, it was determined by officials that the PCF-12 had been the victim of an enemy missile fired from shore. Still, however, a later AP dispatch from Saigon quoted an army spokesman as having attributed the loss of PCF-19 to an unidentified object. And equally important not enemy coastal batteries or missiles. UFO Behavior The New Shocking Surprising Details
The PCF-12 continued its patrol up the river and was soon approached by the identical two unidentified flying objects. The Objects took up positions over on the port and starboard sides about three hundred yards away and 100 feet above the water. PCF-12 contacted headquarters to try to see what they had been dealing with. Alarmed they were met with the response that there had been no aircraft within the area at the time.
Understanding the craft had been not friendly, Snyder ordered his guys to open fire at the lights. And which reputedly did little to faze or slow them down. Then PCF-12 began to turn away at full speed as the two mysterious UFOs tailed and stalked them. The objects were flashing their lights in the night sky the whole time. The second engine man Jim Steffes would later declare that he was given a good look at the craft. In which he had described them as having “a rounded front like an Helo,” and what looked like “2 crewmen sitting side by side.” Discover More UFO Sightings During The Vietnam War Here
