UFO Sighting Reported July 9 1947 Spokane Washington

Cliff Markham, residing on Crestline Street, and members of his crew at the Lyrite Concrete producing plant on Trent and Erie Streets, reported a UFO Sighting of a group of three disk-shaped UFOs spinning in the sky over the Sperry flour mill at 6:15 p.m. Markham said they estimated the speed of the disks to be 50 to 60 m.p.h. One of the UFO disks left the group and appeared to land on the bank of the Spokane River. Some personnel from the pant made a search of the possible landing area, but were unable to find evidence that it may have landed there. Spokane, Washington - July 9, 1947: Source: Spokane "Daily Chronicle", July 10, 1947. credit R.Hilberg
