👽Philip Mantle writes In early June 2024 after a post on face book asking for anyone with any information on the 1973 Pascagoula alien abduction to please contact me. It wasn’t long before I was contacted by Mr. Jason Weeks on face book messenger dated June 7th 2024. He told me that “My grandfather Mr. Kenneth Smith used to own the local TV station WKFK on NCN cable advertising and interviewed Charles Hickson several times.” Mr. Weeks went on to say that he had a VHS tape and some ephemera that used to belong to his grandfather.
The VHS tape had written on it ‘Hickson & Parker “In-Depth”, Channel 13 WLOX. Mr. Weeks first of all digitized the ephemera in his grandfather’s collection and sent it to me on email. This amounted to eighteen separate items including newspaper cuttings and conference promotional material. Mr. Weeks also agreed to digitize the VHS video and have it transferred to a DVD which in turn he would mail to me. The DVD duly arrived on June 20th 2024. I paid Mr. Weeks for the digitizing and postage costs. This was a TV show called IN-DEPTH and was from Channel 13 at WLOX.
In the last few days I have been back in contact with Mr. Weeks as he had now located a few other items one of which is the documentary ‘IN CONTACT’ made by Charles Hickson himself. Mr. Weeks offered to send me a copy which was just great.
Our conversation turned to the papers and videos etc. that he had that had of course belonged to his late grandfather. I politely asked if I might have this material with a view to eventually forward it on to David Marler at the National UFO Historical Records Center in Albuquerque. I explained that I will be sending some more of my own items onto to David Marler and I had already donated all of my UFO files etc.
I’m happy to say that Mr. Weeks agreed to let me have these items and helped by his wife Jodie Weeks the items have been boxed and are en-route to me via UPS. There might not be any smoking guns in this material but it helps us to be able to document the history of the 1973 Pascagoula alien abduction in greater detail. I cannot thank Mr. and Mrs. Weeks enough for this and I’m sure that their late grandfather Mr. Kenneth Smith would be happy that his collection of Pascagoula items were going to a good home and will be preserved forever.
This collection of items is not the first that we have had access to and I have little doubt there are others out there that have material relating to the Pascagoula case.
I have worked on this case with my colleague Dr Irena Scott in Ohio, USA. Dr Scott has also interviewed over 50 independent first hand eyewitnesses to the events back in 1973. I would therefore politely like to request that if you have any material related to the Pascagoula case (documents, photos, newspaper cutting, ephemera etc.) or if you were a witness to the UFO events in and around Pascagoula, Mississippi back in 1973 to please get in touch.
