This UFO image taken using his cellular telephone had at the time gone viral around the world. Although not notwithstanding the skeptics, Carlos testimony seems very honest. The UFO flying saucer sighting caught the eye of Mexican journalist Jaime Maussan.

Toghether with a production team for a documentary on the discovery channel, who were in Tepic with the testimony of Carlos Avila Medina reconstructing the UFO encounter. This event ocurred on 11/05/2008.
Further more MUFON investigated this photo and has alledged that it’s organization struggles to separate fact from fiction as they travel to three cities in Mexico.
