75 YEARS OF UFO “FLYING SAUCERS” ON THIS DAY
On July 7, 1947, William Rhodes of Phoenix, Arizona, a self-described freelance scientist, and inventor had a strange encounter. He was on his way to an outbuilding behind his house sometime around dusk when he heard a “whooshing” sound overhead.
Thinking it was possibly a new jet aircraft, he looked skyward only to spot a dark-colored heel-shaped object flying it’s way from the west.
The craft circled and backed at an altitude Rhodes estimated to be 1,000 feet. Grabbing his camera from the outside workshop, he snapped two shots as the flying heel continued to maneuver over his neighborhood.
Shortly after his last photograph, the thing took off silently toward the southwest at a high rate of speed. This report shows us that UFO Sightings have been reported at least if not more than 75yrs. And to this day we still don’t know who or where they come from.
