Clear Intent Military UFO Sightings Cover up

UFO News: There is an outrage in Ufology right now and its called ''Forgetting Our Best Evidence''. Tisk Tisk, what has UFO research come to, says Paul Dean.

In 1984, UFO government documents researchers Barry Greenwood and Lawrence Fawcett published one of the most shattering books about the US governments continued involvement with response, investigation and discussion of the UFO issue. Where this work was SO revolutionary was that the authors used almost nothing but official, formally classified records of government providence.

The book was called ''Clear Intent''. It was later republished with a new title, ''The UFO Cover Up''.

There is no speculation, lurid tales, rampant conspiracy, rumor.. Every single page is jam packed with references to documents that had been begrudgingly released under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) in the late 1970s and early 1980s.

This was the book that some government entities were actually, for once, were concerned about.

It is staggering that such an enormous fraction of todays ''UFO Community'' have never, or have hardly, looked at it. Anyone who thinks they know about the serious side of UFO history in the USA would flunk UFOs 101 if they could not discuss ''Clear Intent'' and its scholarly and voluminous conclusions.

There were other extraordinary publications in the 1970s and early 1980s too. ''UFOs? Yes! Where the Condon Committee Went Wrong'' by David R. Saunders, ''The UFO Controversy In America'' by David Jacobs (this was before he went 'fringe'), and ''The UFO Evidence'' by Richard Hall (actually published in 1964, but reprinted in 1978 and so on).

Please people.. Have a closer look at todays arguing, gutter sniping UFO-logical garbage that fills Face-book and see it for what it is. Only through a reasonable study of the older works can we even hope to properly discuss the topic for what it is. credit Paul Dean
